Tutorial: Siggy Block Swap

I'm hosting a siggy block swap over at Flickr. Come join our group and get in on the fun. Instructions for making the blocks are below. They're very simple to make and sew up in no time at all. Plus they're perfect for using up those small scraps.

  1. Just signed up via the form and left a message for the group on Flickr, but I wanted to send you a "thank you" for opening up the siggy swap. This is my first online swap, and even though I've been sewing for a few years now, I feel like I don't get to meet many other people who enjoy sewing and creating like I do. I'm so thrilled to have the opportunity to create along with some new friends.

    1. Awww. Well you are very welcome. And thanks for joining in on the fun. I can't wait to see all of the beautiful blocks that come in. 55 blocks from 55 people = 3025 blocks! I'll have to take photos of them all when they arrive. :)

  2. I have signed up - just completed the form, but I have a couple of questions? 1) do the fabrics have to be from the designers you mentioned & 2) is the signature - just that - your signature only or can you add a little design? (drawn or embroidered) - just asking - not sure I would even have time to do all that. :) Thanks for your time and thank you for doing this. I think it will be fun.
